Saarkoth formed in late 2016 with the members Ellis Arnott & Lewis Baker. They were briefly joined by Drummer ‘Daryl Payne (2017)’ and Bassist & Vocalist ‘Asa Jones (2017 - 2019)’, however they are now operating as a two-man group.
Cult of Nature was written between 2018 & 2020, starting shortly before the release of ‘Jera’. Most of the writing was completed during 2019 with the only major development of 2020 being the writing of the song ‘Rains Over A Dying World’, written shortly after they released the Follow The Cult EP. Cult of Nature is releasing on the 14th of November 2020.
Cult of Nature takes its name from the Woods of Ypres song ‘Keeper of the Ledger’.
